Movement, relocation and expansion of lines
An assembly line is a manufacturing process (most of the time called progressive assembly) where the parts (commonly interchangeable parts) are added as the assembly semi-finished move from workstation to workstation where parts are added in sequence until the final assembly occurs. Moving parts mechanically to the assembly station and transferring the semi-finished assembly station workstation, a finished product can be assembled much faster to assemble and less work to have workers carrying parts to a stationary part to assemble .
